How to Join the Meeting

If you want to go in person, it's in the Great Room at LaEscuelita Education Center, 1050 2nd Avenue, Oakland, CA (entrance at or near 286 East 10th St).

It officially starts at 4:00 PM, but the board usually meets privately until around 6:00 PM. We’ll post here on Bluesky when the public part of the meeting begins.

What They’ll Be Talking About

Here's the 2/25 meeting agenda

The spiciest items will be S-2, S-3, and S-4. These cover the Superintendent’s plan to fix the budget shortfall, including proposed staff layoffs.

What’s Not on the Agenda (But Still Important)

A possible teacher strike is not listed on the agenda. Still, it will likely come up during public comments and during Comments by Bargaining Units (Item M).
